
An evening of music, song, poetry and anecdote, to celebrate the 150th birthday of WB Yeats. This 90 minute original production, “The Poet and The Harper: Turlough O Carolan and WB Yeats” presented by Tale of the Gael (Ireland) looks at the lives and works of W.B. Yeats (1865-1939) and Turlough O’Carolan, Irish harper (1670-1738)

After the concert, guests are invited to raise a toast to WB Yeats (born June 13th 1856). The toast, of Irish whiskey, Irish smoked salmon and duileasc, /Irish seaweed comes from Ireland’s celebrated Wild Atlantic Way, part of which runs through Yeats’ beloved county Sligo.
