Hosted by O’Carolan Harp Festival. Recital with the Keadue Harpers, Paul Dooley and guests.
Wednesday February 4th is the second full moon of 2015, and marks the second in a series of 13 concerts celebrating the fact that WB Yeats, as chair of the national coinage committee in 1928, elected to retain the harp on our coins and as the national emblem. Each month, on the day the moon makes a great yellow coin in the night skies of Ireland, there is a harp focused event in a location connected to either Yeats or the harp.
Concert begins at 8pm.
For Yeats2015 The Harp Festival of Moons will host events every month. See the full year’s listing here.
