
The National Irish Canadian Cultural Centre was established to advance Irish culture in all its forms in Canada.
An enthusiastic audience enjoyed a celebration of Yeats on the occasion of Saint Brigid’s Day at the Irish Canadian Centre for the Arts in Ottawa on Sunday 1 February.
Readers of Yeats’ poetry included CBC Radio One presenter Alan Neal and Canadian poet David O’Meara, and local musicians included sean nos singer Ellen McIsaac.
Visitors enjoyed the Department of Foreign Affairs Yeats exhibition.
