Gráinne Cuffe draws a tulip, showing drawing to finished etching in several stages. Using traditional etching methods she has produced a series of tulips, in limited editions. Describing her work as ‘loosely botanical’, Gráinne shares a love for the graphic qualities of the tulip with Elizabeth Yeats.
Bettina Seitz reflects in her sculptures in resin and fiberglass on the art manuals Elementary Brushwork and Brushwork studies of flowers, fruit and animals by Elizabeth Corbet Yeats and her influence on the artists Louis and Melanie Le Brocquy, who she had taught as young children.
