Ambassador Daniel Mulhall will read Yeats poetry as part of London’s 2015 St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Concert
The annual St Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival are being organised by the Mayor of London, supported by a wide range of London Irish community organisations, led by the Council of Irish Counties Association. The event is free and is open to all.
The parade goes down Piccadilly, Regent Street, past Trafalgar Square to Whitehall Place. It includes floats representing the Irish Counties, The London Fire Brigade, London schools and many more. The festival includes live in Trafalgar Square, plus dance and music workshops, children’s play area and Irish arts and crafts, in Trafalgar Square and Leicester Square; and the Bord Bia food festival in Covent Garden.
