In 2015 Ireland celebrates the 150th anniversary of the birth of the Nobel Prize-winning poet, William Butler Yeats on June 13th 1865. As part of the celebration Cork City Libraries has printed 8 Yeats poems that have been translated into various languages. These languages include French, German, Spanish, Swedish, Romanian, Ukrainian, Russian and Chinese. The poems include such famous poems as Sailing to Byzantium, September 1913, An Irish Airman Foresees his Death, the Wild Swans at Coole and so on. The poems will be printed on panels which will be on display in the City Library, Grand Parade and printed on card to be circulated around the city.
